DISCUSSION: Our newspaper reporters want funding to do an in-depth investigative report about corruption in the public schools, but we have no money to fund it. Our advertising department has said it can generate the money if we allow it to sell advertorials for products and businesses in the paper that look like legitimate articles but are actually paid advertising. Should we allow the advertising department to sell advertorials so we can pursue the corruption lead?
